Wearing Sophia Tolli And Feeling "Like The Most Special Bride"
October 29, 2019
We are in awe of these beautiful photographs by Caitlin Jefko! Sophia Tolli bride Brooke submitted her wedding pics and shared a personal account of her special day. She was a gorgeous bride, choosing a strapless misty tulle, A-line gown with dropped waist and hand-beaded lace appliqués adorning the waist and cascading down the skirt. Though her dress is no longer available, Kora, style Y11881 or Libra, style Y21759 are similar strapless, tulle gowns. Scroll down for her words and her lovely pics!
"The most important thing to us when planning our wedding was all about incorporating tradition and family. Our wedding took place in the town of Sun Prairie, WI on a fall day on September 22nd, 2018, held at the Sacred Hearts Church of Jesus and Mary. This church wasn't just any old church, this was the place where my grandparents got married, my parents got married, and now we would be the third generation to say our vows here. My father and brother also helped restore and renovate this church over the years. This place was really special to us. Continuing tradition, I went to Vera's House of Bridals in Madison, WI to find my perfect dress. This was also the place where my grandmother and mother found there dresses as well. Sophia Tolli Kim was the perfect dress for me, the details were impeccable and really made me feel like the most beautiful bride. Incorporated in my dress and my day, I was able to sew my grandfather's wedding ring under the corset and my mother's wedding dress to hold and have with me all day. Following the ceremony we had our reception at the Concourse Hotel and Governors Club in Madison, WI. Here we even honored and celebrated my grandparents 63rd wedding anniversary. Thank you Mon Cheri and Sophia Tolli! My dress was absolutely a perfect fit for me and made me feel like the most special bride. Enjoy the photos captured by Caitlin Jefko from CJefko Photography."
