Ashleigh’s wedding day sounded like the most beautiful and meaningful experience imaginable. She and her husband knew early on they wanted an intimate, elopement-style celebration - something deeply personal and true to them. They worked with their planner, Juliana Wall, who took the time to really get to know their story and style. Together, they planned a perfect two-day adventure around Washington, D.C. that beautifully captured their personalities.
The celebration kicked off at home on the first day, where they made sure to include their beloved cats. Ashleigh shared a particularly sweet detail about one of her cats, who is 18 years old and battling cancer. It meant the world to her to have him included in their photos, creating captured moments she will treasure forever.

Next, it was off to Old Town Alexandria, a charming, historic neighborhood filled with cobblestone streets and 18th-century townhomes. It just so happened to be a federal holiday, so the streets were lively and filled with people who showered the couple with compliments. Ashleigh joked, "I don’t think I’ve ever received so much attention in my life!" They wrapped up day one with celebratory tacos and margaritas at a local restaurant.

Day two took the newlyweds two hours away to the stunning Shenandoah National Park. It was here, surrounded by misty mountains and peak fall foliage, that Ashleigh and her husband exchanged their vows. The burnt orange and teal tones they chose for their theme blended absolutely beautifully with the vibrant autumn landscape.
Ashleigh described her bridal style as a dream come true, especially in her gorgeous gown, Lloyd (Style Y3132), which she found at Brooke's Bridal and Ball. The dress was everything she had hoped for.

When asked about her favorite memory from the day, Ashleigh recalled a moment from the park. A little girl visiting saw her, gasped, and exclaimed, "A princess!" Ashleigh said it was the sweetest moment and made her smile from ear to ear. "From start to finish, everything felt like a dream," she shared. "My dress was everything I hoped for, our photos are everything I could have wished for, and my new husband - he’s absolutely everything."
